Paws for Veterans - helping training dogs program

paws for vets is the initial agenda of its type to offer healing interference for veterans and active duty armed workers by training persons with Traumatic pressure to teach service dogs for their companions with combat-related bodily disabilities. Paws of helping vets is built upon the trust and time-honored tradition of veterans serving paws for veterans.

paws for vets-working dogUnder the teaching of program instructor, service member engage with especially breed Golden and Labrador retriever puppies. Together they endure an intensive 18-to-24-month service dog teaching regimen learn more than 90 instructions while the paws of veterans reintegrate into civilian life. Once training is finished, the service dogs are given to paws for veterans who have continued mobility restrictive wounds. These service dogs exist for the rest of their lives with their new proprietors.  Since paws of helping vets inception, service dog training and connections have directly impacted hundreds of veterans lives.  Fewer nervousness and despair, reduce dependence upon pain medications, larger amiability and a more positive outlook a mission-driven paws for vets focus and converted intellect of purpose. To those with war disabilities, receiving a fully-trained service dog means having a new steadfast companion and a true partner in their recovery.
